Yes — KleerCard issues a Visa Commercial charge card for nonprofits. Paid plans use a weekly credit line paid in full; Free plan spends Wallet deposits. Not revolving credit.
Yes. KleerCard issues a Visa Commercial card you can use anywhere Visa is accepted. It is a charge card, not a revolving consumer credit card. The organization pays the balance in full on a short cycle. There is no interest product for carrying a balance.
A Free plan spends money already deposited in the KleerCard Wallet. Paid plans add a weekly credit line.
The physical and virtual cards work like a regular credit card at the register. The repayment rules are different.
I co-founded KleerCard and serve as treasurer at my church. Before that I closed books as Budget Director at Compassion International and as a fractional CFO through Switch Consulting, working in Blackbaud Financial Edge, Microsoft Great Plains, and QuickBooks. Boards ask this question because “credit card” in a policy manual usually means a revolving bank card tied to a person.

KleerCard is a Visa Commercial card issued by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. Staff, volunteers, and administrators swipe a physical card or enter a virtual card number the same way they would with any other Visa.
The card is bundled with expense software. Receipts attach to the charge. Each card carries its own limit. Transactions show up as they happen. The software does not replace the card. The card is a real network card.
How those cards are issued to the organization is on the nonprofit credit card page.

People use “credit card” for any plastic that is not cash. The products are not the same.
| Type | What it means | Is this KleerCard? |
|---|---|---|
| Revolving credit card | You can carry a balance and pay interest (APR). | No. |
| Charge card | You spend against a credit line and pay the balance in full each cycle. No revolving interest product. | Yes, on Standard and Pro. |
| Prepaid / wallet | You spend money already on deposit. | Yes, on the Free plan. |
| Debit card | Each swipe pulls straight from a checking account. | No. |
KleerCard sits in the same family as other corporate charge cards. The card works on Visa. The organization is the account holder. Repayment is in full rather than a minimum payment plus interest.
If a board policy forbids “credit,” the Wallet path is the honest answer. The cards still work on Visa. The organization is spending its own deposited funds.

Two funding modes sit on the same Visa rails.
On the Free plan, the spending limit is held on deposit in the KleerCard Wallet. Finance adds funds, cards spend against that balance, and nothing is borrowed.
On Standard ($29/month) and Pro ($49/month), KleerCard extends a weekly credit line. Charges post to the account. The linked bank account is then debited by ACH for the full statement amount. There is no product for carrying an unpaid balance at interest.
The wallet-versus-credit-line split is on KleerCard pricing.
A prepaid program like PEX asks you to load each card before it will work. KleerCard’s paid plans do not work that way. Individual cards can still be set to a fixed budget or to $0 until a funding request is approved. That is a control on the card, not a requirement to preload every piece of plastic.

The KleerCard account is issued to the organization, not to a pastor, a head of school, or a volunteer. Approval rests on the organization’s information.
The Customer Agreement includes a personal-guarantee clause. For a registered 501(c)(3), KleerCard waives that guarantee for the people submitting the application. The clause still applies to companies that are not registered 501(c)(3)s.
That split is covered in credit cards for nonprofits with no personal guarantee.

KleerCard is not only software. The platform issues the Visa cards. Receipt capture, coding, and limits ride on those cards. Both parts ship together.
KleerCard is not a contribution tool. It does not process tithes or donations.
It is also not a checking debit card. A swipe on a paid plan posts to the KleerCard account first. The linked bank account settles the statement on the weekly cycle.

KleerCard issues a Visa commercial card. On paid plans it functions as a charge card: spend first, then the linked bank account pays the balance in full. It is not a debit card that draws the checking account on every swipe.
The Free plan is deposit-backed. The organization loads the KleerCard Wallet and cards spend that money. Paid plans use a weekly credit line and do not require each card to be loaded before it will work.
No. KleerCard is not a revolving credit card. There is no interest product for leaving a balance unpaid from cycle to cycle. The linked account is debited for what was spent.
The Bancorp Bank, N.A. issues the Visa Commercial card. KleerCard provides the account, the cards, and the spend software around them.
For a registered 501(c)(3), KleerCard waives the personal guarantee in the Customer Agreement. The card is issued to the organization.

If the question is whether the card works at Costco, Amazon, and the grocery store, the answer is yes. It is a Visa. If the question is whether this is a revolving credit card the organization can float across a giving slump, the answer is no. Paid plans run a short-cycle credit line paid in full. The Free plan spends deposited funds.
Choose the funding mode that matches the board’s rule, then issue the cards to the people who actually spend.
