Owen Hill

Owen Hill has spent his career at the intersection of mission-driven work and financial rigor. He holds a degree in Economics and Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy and a Ph.D. in Economics, giving him a rare analytical foundation that he's spent decades applying in the nonprofit world.

After serving as a Financial Analyst in the Air Force, Owen joined Compassion International as Budget Director, where he helped steward the financial planning behind one of the largest international humanitarian organizations in the United States.

From there, he founded Switch Consulting, a fractional CFO practice built specifically for nonprofits, giving smaller organizations access to senior-level financial leadership without the full-time price tag. He's worked with finance teams across the sector, helping them build cleaner processes, stronger internal controls, and the kind of financial clarity that lets leadership focus on mission instead of spreadsheets.

Owen has served on the boards of Save the Storks and Life Network in Colorado Springs, and currently volunteers as Treasurer for his local church. He's not just advising nonprofits from the outside; he's been in the trenches with them for years.

Most recently, Owen co-founded KleerCard, a business credit card and expense management platform built from the ground up for nonprofits, churches, and independent schools. It's the product he always wished existed for the clients he served.
